Night Scene: Takamatsu, Kagawa
Jet lag has its positive side if you are a photographer. I sneaked out of the house at 4a.m., unable to sleep, and wandered around a silent city. At that time of the night the dimensions are different without people or traffic and sound carries a long way. With night time photography you never quite know how the camera will deal with the contrasts of light and its very easy to burn out the brightest areas while trying to get some detail in the deep shadows. I was pleased with this low key shot for its still formality.
