Deciduous Dawn

I like trees and woodland but they can be spooky brooding places. With this picture you can see what I mean. It was taken along the edge of Brighouse Bay in wintertime when the low sun gave a magical light to the misty air.

  1. Thanks Jenny. This photo has hung around for a while in various incarnations. I like it for its sumptuous feel and I agree with you that it is almost a crossover piece which is why I put it in a frame. It also has an animistic or insect like quality; you can almost hear their cicada-like clickings as they ease themselves forward. Hmm …. maybe I won’t hang it on the wall after all….. John
