Bewdley Station
A late afternoon view of Bewdley station, and enthusiasts gather in anticipation of a south-bound departure to Kidderminster.
A scene on the Severn Valley Railway that runs between Bridgnorth in Shropshire and Kidderminster in Worcestershire. Our friend Ian works as a volunteer ticket inspector on this line. As you can see it’s a very popular visitor destination. I wish we didn’t live quite so far away. They have a great collection of working steam locomotives and some splendidly restored carriages.

very much like this photo! The light shining on the train and the wall is beautifully bright
Thanks LB the light does lift it.
Perfect choice of color treatment…takes me back, John.
I wish it would take me back…..right there…..memories fade, don’t they…..thanks, Scott.
Oh, they do…but we capture what we can along the way to help us remember….
Lovely! I “liked” this yesterday, but being paranoid I came back to check if it had registered. And it hadn’t. So I’m “liking” it again. I get the feeling that all the posts I’ve “liked” recently haven’t been registered.
Hi Steve, your paranoia is much appreciated…
Me, paranoid? Who said that…
