Thanks Kate….and just think how complex some of those moulds must be.
Such artistry in that craft…likely all done on a computer nowadays, rendering a similar beauty and detail, no doubt, and reflective of an amazing eye and skill…but to have fashioned it all by hand as they must have done in the former times, is absolutely incredible to me…wonderful. Thank you for the image, John…very nice.
It’s a place I would like to visit again, especially when they have visitors from enactment groups who dress in period costume.
Those would make lovely photos, too…you’ve done some of those before…the man with the bowl in his hand…woman by the window, if I’m not mistaken….
You have a good memory Scott…yes they were another enactment group at Buittle Tower not far from here, though they are only open a few times in the year.
