The Skerries is a small harbour on the east coast of Ireland, just north of Dublin.

John, I have a friend who lives in Skerries (that isn’t him). This brings back memories of sitting in a bar overlooking the harbour, drinking Guinness, and watching the local dolphins play.

Great shot, with the ropes leading you into the frame and the sunlight over the sand to the figure in (almost) silhouette.

Hi Adrian and thanks. We sometimes stop off at Skerries on our way to visit our son in Dublin and strangely it has been sunny on every occasion. Haven’t seen the dolphins but we’ve had some nice meals there.
